Sometimes I think the only thing I’ve really learned in the last 34 years is that no matter how bad it feels now, it will get better eventually.

To be able to do things that only older kids can do … yep. My son is so much fun now that he’s 5, and my daughter is getting there at 3 … And I still have the baby who sleeps 3 hours at a time (if I’m lucky). This is exactly what’s telling me I don’t want a fourth.

I’ve learned to not take myself too seriously, and to laugh at myself as often as possible!
This is a bigger lesson than I originally though because it also goes the other way…no matter how good it is, don’t take it for granted, because its not meant to last forever.
Well, now. I needed to be reminded of this.
