I am thankful we decided to carve out creative time for each of us parents a couple years ago and that we both wanted it. Even with the struggle it was worthwhile. I think it is probably time we prioritize it again. Maybe you two could schedule “independent pursuits” time and based on what he is already spending you could negotiate for some fraction thereof. That was what we did although now I forget who had more independent pursuits when we started struggling for equal time, and we picked across the month rather than each week so we could give my spouse a big chunk of time at once where I needed an hour or two at a time each week.
