The weekend was a success. I enjoyed myself and I think others did too. I’m really happy I went, and I didn’t even return home exhausted!
Each kid was with a set of grandparents so my husband isn’t exhausted either. That is good because last week was looong and tiring and this week will be busy too.
And we get an extra hour!
This evening is back to real life. I have planning to do and projects to grade. I’m at the dojo Monday and Tuesday, after an unplanned hiatus last month. I need to get coverage for my last two block periods on Thursday because of a high school tour. Then a long weekend!
I really need a long weekend. One where we don’t go away.
And I need to sit down and figure out when I’m going to write posts and reply to comments and read other people’s blog posts and write comments. I can do it all, but I need to be strategic about when. And I don’t want to go to bed too late doing it because this is a time when I try to reset my sleep cycle a little earlier. I need to take advantage of this opportunity to get more sleep.
So it’s a lot but I’m determined.
Oh yes, strategy is everything, esp. during NaBloPoMo 😉 but I hope you don’t get stressed out about it… you don’t have to read/comment on every single blog posts, just find some engagement and it’ll be fine… because these new connections will last beyond NaBloPoMo. We’re happy you found us 😉
Oh I won’t read or comment on every blog post, but I do want to be reading and commenting on the posts of people who read and comment here!
Honestly, I’ve just given up on commenting on everyone’s posts. I try to read everything, but something has to give and comments are it for me. I am still trying to reply to comments on my own posts, but I’m not sure if people ever go back to read replies, so maybe that’s not the best use of my time? I don’t know. It’s all very confusing to figure out what the priorities should be.
Oh I could never comment on all of them. I just want to comment on some. Especially the posts of people who are commenting here. Like you!
What NGS above said. If I get to it-great, if not-oh well, there is always tomorrow. Glad you enjoyed being in the wine country! I love wine but no nothing about it. Wait, I know the colors: red, white and pink lol Glad you had grandparents take your kids for a bit. We don’t have that luxury (my folks are in Russia and T’s mom lives in Maine).
We are so lucky to have both sets of grandparents living in the same place. It’s a big reason why we have never considered leaving here!
Oh my goodness, look at that gorgeous scenery! Our fall colors are all gone by now, which makes me a little sad.
We don’t generally get much change of colors around these parts, so I took a lot of pictures of red leaves. 🤣
It’s a long list of blogs this year, too. I struggle. I am helping my dad who is moving out of his house soon and travel back to the US in two days and I am keeping odd hours and just don’t feel like I have a lot of time. Do what you can 🙂
Aw thanks. I will. I want to! I just need to find the time for the things I want. To not let other stuff deep into those nooks and crannies.
