  1. I hate real trees, yet we still get one every year. Guess who is the only one who thinks the water it? Guess who is the only one that puts lights on it! Guess who is the only one to be aware of tree disposal days to get it out of the damned house? 🙄

Sending you a link to the one we have…

  2. This post supports my reasoning for having a fake tree. I bought our newest one for about twice what a live tree would cost, and it will last me 8-10 years, based on the lifespan of our last fake tree. 🙂

Plus I don’t have to worry about making sure it has enough water, vacuuming up pine needles or disposing of it after the holidays.

  3. We had a fake tree for 20 years that we had to assemble/disassemble each year…was heavy and took up a lot of space…then a few years ago we got a fake tree that you just pop up and down—has lights and decorations and we add a few ornaments. Takes little space and is lightweight. Best thing ever.

  4. I love our $30 Costco live tree :). We grew up with a fake tree that took so damn long to put up every year (and put away at the end of the season), because of family allergies, so I enjoy getting a real one. I don’t mind watering it, and the needles dropping doesn’t really bother me all that much. I also hate storing stuff year round, so it’s nice to just drag the tree into the woods in January and be done with it ;). This is the stand we have used for the last three years and it works great! https://www.target.com/p/home-logic-8ft-ez-h20-christmas-tree-stand-green/-/A-52285302?sid=1003S&ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Seasonal+Shopping_Brand&adgroup=SC_Seasonal&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=c&location=9007880&gclid=CjwKCAiAu4nRBRBKEiwANms5W2X-rFdxL1vUH83E_C3-Bcx6dA1xjSEuiQQ_Hx7OiG2oRtQT9RSj7hoCyugQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
